Portland Naturopathic Doctors & Insurance Reimbursement:

At Terrain Wellness in Portland, Oregon, the Doctor/Patient relationship is our foremost concern. We are an insurance-free clinic but many patients do receive significant reimbursement from their insurance providers. We are focused on treating you, the patient.

You matter, and your finances matter so it’s worth pointing out that many patients do have insurance companies willing to participate in covering portions of patient visits. That said, as Naturopathic Doctors serving Portland, OR we believe that your personal health decisions should be made without undue pressure from HMO’s or insurance providers. Our Integrative Medical perspective means that we do cooperate with insurance-preferred providers for diagnostics such as labs and imaging. In order to maintain the highest level of integrity we do not maintain direct relationships with insurance billing.

Payment is due at the time of service and we provide the coded receipt you will need to bill your insurance provider for out-of-network benefits. These bills are typically reimbursed at 60-80%, depending on your provider. Please check with your insurance provider for specifics about your plan and coverage of Acupuncture and Naturopathic Medicine or for out-of-network providers.
